BigBear.ai is seeking a Vice President of Sales Engineering to manage the team that performs our early customer technical engagements. This person will be responsible for ensuring we can demonstrate our technological differentiation to prospects and customers, develop prototypes applying our capabilities to business problems, support capture efforts, and collaborate with the product team and the broader company to evolve our technology vision and execution. The successful candidate will have a proactive “let’s figure it out” attitude, experience developing software which applies data science to understand and solve problems, the ability to engage with clients and translate complex technical concepts into understandable functional impacts, and a proven history of managing high-energy and successful sales engineering teams.
The Vice President of Sales Engineering will have broad exposure to multiple programs and projects across BigBear.ai coupled with the ability to directly influence design and implementation. They will champion the application of our machine learning, predictive/prescriptive analytics, and data collections to solve critical business problems, and be the face of our company ensuring that world sees that “the BigBear way” is consistent, pushes the envelope of what is possible, and differentiated. You will manage the education of our clients and staff to help them understand what we can achieve and solving the hardest problems / shepherding the process of getting projects started. Our Vice President of Sales Engineering will stay connected to emerging methods and technologies and support related experimentation and adoption, driving the future evolution of BigBear.ai.
